Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical projects from initial concept through to final handover, ensuring delivery is on schedule and within allocated budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Produce and review detailed mechanical designs using advanced CAD software.
Carry out regular inspections and performance tests to confirm compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Maintain comprehensive records throughout the project, including reports, methodologies, and risk assessments.
Communicate frequently with clients, providing updates and ensuring requirements are met or exceeded.
Take part in site assessments, testing, and pre-commissioning activities.
Qualifications
Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
3–5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, ideally within the power generation, energy, or related industries.
Strong proficiency in CAD tools for design and modelling.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills supported by strong analytical thinking.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with clients and project teams.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and enhancing technical knowledge.
