Part-Time Health and Safety Officer (20 hrs/week) Dublin Location: Dublin Part-Time | 20 Hours/Week Industry: Mechanical Engineering / Fitout Our client is a growing, Irish-owned company delivering bespoke mechanical engineering services to the fitout industry.
With a strong commitment to quality and safety, theyre now seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join their Dublin-based team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities: Promote a strong health and safety culture across the business.
Conduct site inspections and recommend corrective actions.
Lead risk reviews and support incident investigations.
Schedule and oversee mandatory safety training.
Develop and distribute safety materials and lead safety campaigns.
Maintain accurate safety documentation and training records.
Ensure compliance with emergency and fire safety procedures.
Track and report on health and safety metrics and non-compliance issues.
Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in a Health and Safety Officer role.
Degree and recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and safety management systems.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Full, clean Irish drivers license.
Background in engineering or construction is preferred.
