RPS, a Tetra Tech company, are currently recruiting for Senior / Principal Engineer to join our Water and Utilities business in Ireland based in Dublin, Galway or Cork.Your focus will be working on Water Services, Flooding & Drainage Projects.About The TeamYou will be central to the water & drainage team, assisting in the delivery of projects for key public and private sector clients in Ireland and further afield.RPS, a Tetra Tech CompanyIn **** RPS joined Tetra Tech, enabling us to combine our expertise with the reach and resources of a prestigious global organisation.We design, and manage projects in urbanisation, natural resources, and sustainability.As part of Tetra Tech's over 30,000 strong team across 550 offices in over 120 countries, we deliver solutions that create lasting value in an increasingly urbanised and resource-scarce world.By leveraging our global expertise, we enable our clients to develop winning solutions for their clients and communities.As a Tetra Tech company, RPS is proud to provide market-leading development and project opportunities for our people, supporting their growth while addressing the challenges that matter.Our people drive our success, and this is where you come to build a career.Your ImpactJoin RPS, a Tetra Tech company to make a real difference.Our work leverages cutting-edge technologies, advanced analytics, and the expertise of world-class scientists and engineers to create meaningful change around the world.Discover your full potential – join us to grow your career while leaving a lasting legacy.About The RoleReport to Line Manager / Business Unit Leader.Work as part of an integrated team to deliver various projects on programme for our clients.Carry out site inspections and prepare reports with recommendations including design calculations, drawings, estimates and construction packs.Present reports at client meetings for review and discussion.Assist others within the company in delivering projects, as may be required.Deliver engineering consultancy services to a level expected from a competent and professional Chartered Engineer.About YouLevel 8 degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering or related discipline.A post graduate Level 9 Masters would be advantageous.Chartered membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or Institute of Civil EngineersA minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the design/delivery of one or more of the following – water networks, wastewater collection systems, water & wastewater treatment infrastructure, surface water collection & management systems, flood defence infrastructure.Candidates should have a background of working within the Water Services or Flooding & Drainage sectors and demonstrate experience of successful delivery on projects.Possess a high level of technical capability.A track record in the delivery of water services projectsKey Skills/AttributesKnowledge and experience of public works construction contractsExperience in undertaking and leading detailed engineering design and preparing civil and structural specifications for civil engineering infrastructureExperience in the preparation of construction contract documents for water services or flooding & drainage infrastructureExperience of working as part of Employer-led and/or Contractor-led design teamsExcellent IT skills, familiar with relevant computer applications;
