This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a supportive environment while promoting a strong health and safety culture across the organisation. About the Role As Health & Safety Coordinator, you will oversee the organisations health and safety systems, ensure compliance with legislation, and foster a safe working culture across all services. You will report to the Head of Compliance. Key Responsibilities Act as the organisation's "Competent Person" under health and safety legislation. Maintain and develop health and safety management systems, policies, and procedures. Conduct and review risk assessments, including DSE, pregnancy, and site-specific hazards. Coordinate health and safety audits and manage emergency planning procedures. Lead accident/incident investigations using a no blame approach. Identify trends in incident reporting and recommend solutions. Deliver and advise on health and safety training requirements. Liaise with external bodies such as the Health & Safety Authority. About You Experience & Qualifications: 25 years experience in a similar role. Relevant qualification in health and safety (e.g., Honours Degree or Higher Diploma). Additional certifications (e.g., DSE Assessor, HACCP) are advantageous.
