The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Buyer
to join our growing Procurement team in Dublin.
This is a pivotal role where you'll manage strategic sourcing and procurement for large-scale projects across Ireland and Europe.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
Lead procurement activities for major projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of M&E materials and services.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project and business objectives.
Manage RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate supplier agreements.
Build strong supplier relationships across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and project teams to align specifications and schedules.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.
Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvements.
What We're Looking For
Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
5+ years' experience
in a senior procurement role within the construction industry (M&E preferred).
Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical building systems.
Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in international procurement and logistics.
Knowledge of sustainable procurement and ESG considerations.
