We are looking for a Full Stack Software Development Engineer that is hardworking, innovative, and passionate about designing and developing scalable and resilient solutions across multiple product areas in the UI Platform pillar that support business and customer success.
We invite you to join our 'Experiences for Information Processing' (EIP) teamAbout the Role This role will be for one of our full stack teams which will deliver enhancements across our UI Platform, improving the user experience for our 60+ million Workday users around the world.
The team is primarily focused on improving the performance, experience and platform capabilities for rendering large data sets to our end users.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:Write and maintain solid, robust, efficient and maintainable code using frameworks and tools, including Java, React, Spring, Redis, Git, Gradle
Write reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our CD pipeline
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver features in the core Workday products
Build proof of concepts to help steer the development approach for features.
Understand and promote industry standard methodology
Collaborate with and learn from other team members through pairing, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etc.
Contribute with feature development and bug fixes in the client and server parts of our stack
Influence technical design and architecture decisions within your team
About You We are looking for an experienced Engineer with solid client and server development skills, who always keeps a platform approach in mind.
This is the place for you if you have a passion for solving complex problems in a scalable way and you want to be part of a team that is building our services to support the rapid growth of features in our Workday product.
Basic Qualifications 3+ years experience developing software in a commercial environment
2+ years experience with Java using frameworks/libraries
Proven track record to work in an agile, fast paced continuous delivery environment
You see software development as a team activity, and thrive in a highly collaborative, agile culture where you're always teaching and learning
You have a strong desire to learn and continuously improve your craft
You are a problem solver who is motivated by successfully shipping new features to production
You are open to work with client technologies and solve problems across different parts of the stack
Other Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably Computer Science/Engineering
Experience working on generative UI
A passion for innovation and ability to contribute to shaping the technical and product roadmaps
