We are recruiting aPSDP (Health & Safety Technical Advisory Division)for a well-established Irish consultancy that offers 3 work from home days a week, company pension plan, frequent career progression opportunities, and many more.Benefits: 3 days a week working from home, frequent career progression opportunities, flexible working hours, company pension plan, 28 days of annual leave, paid sick leave, support for professional association membership fee, tax saver scheme, cycle to work scheme, an exciting project pipeline, family friendly working and leave policies as well as the employee assistance and well-being support programme among others.This is a key role for an experienced health and safety professional who will support the delivery of high-quality, compliant design safety coordination across a diverse portfolio of projects.Core RequirementsMinimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a Construction-related discipline.Relevant IOSH-Approved Project Supervisor Design Phase trainingMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the health and safety industry, with a strong focus on PSDP.Key Responsibilities:As a PSDP, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring health and safety compliance throughout the design and planning stages of construction projects.Your responsibilities will include:Design Safety CoordinationAct as the designated PSDP across multiple projects.Review design documentation and designer risk assessments for legislative compliance.Provide expert advice on design safety to internal teams and external stakeholders.Develop and maintain Safety in Design Strategy documents.Project Safety OversightManage and review project RAMS and maintain a comprehensive RAMS register.Evaluate contractor safety documentation and performance.Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety plans.Coordinate closely with PSCS representatives on project sites.Policy & ComplianceSupport the development and annual review of Health & Safety policies and procedures.Ensure all safety systems and documentation are accurate, current, and accessible.Technical LeadershipProvide technical input across office projects in design safety coordination.Review technical documents for alignment with best practices and legislation.Stay informed on regulatory changes, technologies, and industry standards.Internal Management of PSDP ProjectsCommercial management of PSDP roleEnsuring quality control of projectsManagement of resources to ensure role delivered within scope / agreementDeveloping good working relationships with clients, design team, contractor etcInterested?Apply now
