About the team Email marketing is at the core of everything we do.
Working closely with our content, design, advertising, and data science teams, our email team builds our global communities, communicates with our customers, and ensures our event attendees are informed and prepared to get a world-class event experience.
We're looking for a creative and effective communicator who understands the power of email marketing to join our team and help us scale our email and attendee communications strategies as our global events and brand continue to grow.
Please note, this position is a 12-month FTC.
What you'll achieve at Web SummitYou'll action email marketing campaigns and roll out customer acquisition plans.Supported by our Email Marketing Lead, you'll work closely with members of the email and other Marketing teams to build end-to-end campaigns for customer acquisition and lead nurturing.You'll work with various departments internally to help our company hit aggressive customer growth targets.You'll support the building and implementation of complex automation workflows.You'll analyse data and produce reports to help in the decision-making process.You'll collaborate with the growth and data science teams in support of the implementation of new and disruptive email marketing techniques.You'll work with our advertising team to execute cross-channel email campaigns and automations.You'll run A/B testing of our messaging and use the results to inform our email marketing strategies.Who you are You're data-driven with a strong interest in email marketing and the digital world in general.You're passionate about email automation, and you want to design, manage, and build complex automation workflows at scale.You're a planner and are capable of executing on complex customer journeys.You're naturally curious and want to experiment with new and creative ideas.You're able to create attractive and interesting content.You're an excellent communicator with an eye for detail.You have knowledge of online marketing and experience with different email marketing tools.
(Iterable a plus)You're inspired by technology and innovation, can spot trends, and keep up-to-date with the latest ideas in technology and marketing.No matter how crazy the ideas are, you are able to find creative ways to turn them into reality.Skills and abilities we're looking for 2+ years of commercial experience with some/all of the following: email marketing, marketing communication, copywriting, marketing automation at scale.Strong technical and analytical experience required.
