About Us:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Bar Person to lead the operations of our country pub and restaurant 15 minutes outside of Ennis in Co.Clare .The specific venue details will be shared with shortlisted applicants, but this is an exciting opportunity within an established and successful group.Role Overview:As a Senior Bar Person, you'll be at the forefront of delivering top-quality service in both our bar and restaurant areas.You'll help lead shifts, support junior team members, and ensure every guest feels welcome—whether they're dropping in for a pint, enjoying a meal, or celebrating a special day.Key Responsibilities:Deliver outstanding service across bar, restaurant, and event settingsLead bar operations during shifts, ensuring a smooth and professional serviceMentor junior bar staff and foster a positive team environmentManage cash, stock levels, and bar cleanlinessLiaise with kitchen and floor teams to ensure seamless serviceMaintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing standardsSupport setup and service for weddings and private eventsRepresent the spirit and hospitality of Vaughans to every guestRequirements:2+ years' bar or hospitality experience, with some supervisory or senior-level experience preferredKnowledge of beer, spirits, wines, and cocktailsFriendly, confident, and customer-focused approachStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to thrive in a busy, high-energy environmentFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and events as requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive pay based on experienceA positive, supportive work cultureOpportunities for career growth as the business expandsInvolvement in a wide range of services—from casual dining to weddingsA chance to work in one of North Clare's most attractive and dynamic venuesJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:FlexitimeFood allowanceOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
