OverviewThe role of an Auditor is to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, and operating practices within depots across Ireland.
Verify findings by comparing results to documentation.
Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditees.
Flexibility and a willingness to travel between client depots/warehouses within a designated territory is required.
QualificationsHave strong planning, organizing, and monitoring abilitiesMeticulous attention to detail and analytical thinkingAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamExcellent presentation skills and the ability to deliver feedbackExcellent report writing skillsExperience with audit software; auditor experience would be beneficialStrong work ethic and exemplary integrity are essentialCapacity to adapt to change and a commitment to continuous process improvementProven strong communication skills with stakeholdersExcellent oral and written communicationProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and WordMust have a full clean driver's license; own car is requiredResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentationVerify findings by comparing results to documentationComplete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findingsCommunicate audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditeesComply with legal, licensing, and ISO requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actionsPrepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trendsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededPerform and maintain control of the full audit cycle, which includes reliability, compliance with applicable regulations & directives, and risk managementAttend meetings with auditees to understand how their business operatesTravel to various depots and meet the relevant company staff while also obtaining the requisite informationProvide advice to staff and management; this is often achieved through the use of training sessions and coursesResearch and assess the overall performance and risk management processes using software to record the results
