Job Title: Accounts & Bookkeeping ManagerLocation: Galway, IrelandCompany Overview: A leading construction company based in Galway, committed to quality and sustainability in all our projects.As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Accounts and Bookkeeping manager to oversee our financial management and ensure continued financial health through strategic planning and sound accounting practices.Job Description: We are seeking a Account and Bookkeeping with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in management accounting to oversee our financial operations, focusing on payroll, Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT), supplier payments, and subcontractor management.This role will be instrumental in assisting with funding options, investment opportunities, and grant applications.You will work closely with our accounts team to optimize our financial strategies and contribute to our overall success.Key Responsibilities:Manage and execute payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.Oversee and administer the Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage payments to suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely transactions and maintaining strong relationships.Assist in identifying and securing funding, investment, and grant opportunities to support company growth.Provide financial insights and forecasts to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.Collaborate with the accounts support staff to streamline accounting functions and financial reporting.Requirements:Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the construction sector.Strong understanding of payroll administration, RCT, and subcontractor payment processes.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; full accounting qualification is preferred but not essential.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a small team.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Dynamic and supportive work environment.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €45,******-€52,****** per yearWork Location: In person
