About your team:
At Centrica Business Solutions, we partner with over 7,000 organisations globally to help them balance planet and profit.
We build, operate, and maintain onsite energy assets like Solar PV and CHP to help businesses save the planet and money.
We are transforming the UK's energy landscape by developing a 900MW portfolio of solar farms and battery storage assets.
As a Senior Project Manager in CBS Ireland, you will deliver innovative decarbonised energy solutions, supporting our vision to help customers live sustainably, simply, and affordably.
You will oversee multi-technology projects, lead project execution, and contribute to bidding processes.
You will manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability, with a broad knowledge of Solar, CHP, or Integrated solutions.
You will demonstrate leadership, risk management, technical understanding, and energy industry experience.
Key accountabilities:
Health, Safety & Environment:
Drive a safety culture of zero incidents across all project phases.
Customer Experience:
Provide high-level customer service through direct and indirect interactions.
Delivery:
Manage project financials, schedule, and performance reporting.
Project Management:
Lead planning, risk management, documentation, and collaboration with support functions like Sales, Engineering, and O&M.
Skills and experience required:
Proven project management experience with a successful track record.
Experience in engineering and construction environments, managing HSE.
Technical expertise in Solar, CHP, or similar energy projects.
Construction experience with large-scale onsite energy projects.
Sector experience with complex energy users.
Degree in Engineering or Technical field preferred; safety qualifications like NEBOSH are a plus.
Strong commercial acumen, contractual experience with industry-standard contracts.
