About the Role
Evisort Engineering is expanding and as a result of that a new Software Development unit is being formed.
We are looking for a Junior Sr Associate Software Development Engineer to join this team.
As such, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled engineers, in close collaboration with your Product and Design partners, with the goal of maintaining and expanding our best-in-class contract management offerings.
Your technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively so that the sum is greater than the parts will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision to deliver best-in-class-AI at scale, to transform how major companies optimize and streamline key business processes related to negotiating and managing their contracts.
Your role will be instrumental in advancing our AI initiatives and delivering exceptional value to corporate legal departments and business professionals world-wide.
You will:
Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to build on execute the vision, strategy and roadmap
Participate in a collaborative team culture that encourages iteration and innovation, and a deep understanding of both our business domain and of engineering practices to steer engineering decisions
Have an impact on the professional development and productivity of your teammates
Be part of a team that will own several functional areas of our platform ("you build it, you run it")
About You
We're looking for dedicated talented people who love a fast-paced environment, want to ship customer value early and often, and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas.
The right candidate for this role is a problem solver first and foremost - they should enjoy tackling challenging problems, coming up with creative solutions, and guiding and teaching their counterparts and teammates about how to utilise leverage their solutions.
They bring a sense of urgency, a bias for action, and are outcome driven.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience in software engineering
Experienced in building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Familiarity with the technologies and tradeoffs involved in building modern distributed systems
Knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc)
Full-stack generalist
Highly proficient in python (back end) and typescript (back/front end)
Other Qualifications
Proficient in database systems (Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis)
Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficient in the use of Elasticsearch
Successful track record of operating as part of multicross-functional teams in fast-paced, agile environments
Highly effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals
Eager to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse team
Comfortable navigating ambiguity to turn hard problems into clear and compelling solutions through reasoning and research
Familiarity or interest in multiple programming languages and paradigms a plus

Workday Pay Transparency Statement
Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
