Oversee and implement appropriate recreational and social activities for the residents of Hamilton Park Care Facility in accordance with the Activity Programs.Identify the needs of the collective group and individuals and tailor the activities to suit them.Ensure activities are suitable and specific to the wide range of needs of the residents of Hamilton Park.Ensure individual one to one activities are provided to residents who prefer these or where residents cannot attend the group activity that day.Encourage involvement from the residents of Hamilton Park Care Facility.Create a positive, fun, friendly atmosphere for the residents of Hamilton Park in their day to lives at the Care Facility.Ensure the Activity Program is displayed in the units and available for all residents.Ensure all scheduled activities are completed and records are maintained of same.Ensure excellent record keeping in relation to completion of individual resident activities.Ensure excellent documentation in relation to completion of the monthly Activities Program.Be aware of risks in relation to residents which may impact them during activities e.g. high falls risk, allergies etc.Link with nursing staff to obtain relevant knowledge in relation to resident activities.Undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Activity Coordinator or Director of Care.Be able to take on special projects, and preparation for events as they come up e.g. breakfast club, summer fair, holiday parties and events.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From €***** per hourWork authorisation:Ireland (preferred)Location:Blackhall, Balbriggan, CO.Dublin (preferred)Work Location: In person
