art.Funded mainlyShow moreDescriptionThe Gallery wishes to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager on a permanent basis.This role sits within the Finance Department and plays a pivotal role in supporting the external and internal financial reporting of the Gallery.The Finance Reporting Manager will working closely with the Head of Finance & Systems and external stakeholders including the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, Comptroller and Auditor General and Internal auditors.This post will be suited to a qualified accountant with public sector experience who has a proven ability to collaborate with a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.Reporting to the Head of Finance & Systems, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for the:Preparation of annual statutory accountsPreparation of monthly management accountsCompletion of quarterly exchequer grant submissionsMaintenance of all finance policies and proceduresFixed Asset register maintenanceCoordinate annual statutory audit and internal auditsProject Management reportingManagement of the Accounts Payable Supervisor and the Assistant AccountantThe successful candidate will have:A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with a number of years spent working in a finance function in a public sector environmentExcellent stakeholder management skills, with an ability to work with stakeholders externally and internally across different departments, challenging and supporting them constructively to achieve common goals.Experience in ensure expenditure to public sector spending codes, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.Demonstrable experience in a financial reporting and knowledge of the public sector environment is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to extract, correlate, and interpret data.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various financial systems eg Integra.Excellent communication skills to
