Position summary
This role involves a dynamic mix of responsibilities, including balancing deal funding processes, managing audits, and handling investor queries, providing a varied and engaging workday.
Job Responsibilities:
Be a culture carrier for J.P. Morgan's Business Principles supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across the organization.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting, audit, and reporting functions for a portfolio of private equity and debt funds.
Responsible for LP/investor capital calls, distributions, financial reports, and capital statements.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, understanding contractual and service delivery agreements, and ensuring excellent execution.
Defend against scope creep and enforce rigorous Change Control processes.
Execute control frameworks through high-quality checklists, procedures, and audits.
Design and implement solutions to automate manual processes and reduce risks.
Escalate successes and issues promptly to senior management.
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:
Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines; strong organization and planning skills.
Ownership and accountability, with a commitment to doing the right thing.
Willingness to manage end-to-end fund or client relationships.
Data literacy, understanding the data chain in private markets; familiarity with Alteryx is a plus.
Drive to develop self and the team, improve processes, and enhance client outcomes.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of FIS Investran, Arcesium, or similar accounting platforms is advantageous.
Experience in private equity fund administration or alternative funds preferred.
Qualified or part-qualified accountant with exposure to US/Lux/UK GAAP and IFRS.
