Working with other team members, you will ensure that effective processes are identified to fault-find problems or failures and resolve them in high-value electrical/electronic control units.
Major Responsibilities: Analyse and repair Faulty Power application technologies and control systemsEnsure Customer Product is repaired/upgraded in an appropriate time frameWork with other team members, ensure that capabilities are available to economically and effectively repair and test supplied unitsLiaise with other departments to ensure that bought-in components or services are available as requiredEnsure that all activities are performed in a manner that ensures safety of all personnelWorking with other team members, ensure that all necessary performance testing and reporting is performedPreparation & presentation of reports as requiredDevelop and work closely with Engineering Services to ensure the new or non-standard tests protocols are effectiveSupport Ongoing Test Activities: Support the organization in ensuring that all test equipment is fully operationalSupport the organization through feedback on developed incremental test processesAbility to manage projects in an effective mannerAbility to work with cross functional teams, but also self motivatedStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work as an excellent team player is essentialExcellent attention to detail and focus on high quality outputStrong communications skills, both written and spokenA good knowledge of Analogue and Digital ElectronicsA good knowledge of microprocessors, memory devices, etc.Experience gained in an Electronics manufacturing / service function is desirableExperience/capability to develop basic product test methods and proceduresQualification: Third level qualification (QQI Level 7 or higher) in Electronic Engineering or relevant combination of education and experience.
