McHale are seeking to recruit an Electronic Technician to participate in the on-going assembly, testing, and repairing of electronic control systems and hardware used on the McHale range of agricultural machinery. This is a permanent full-time position based within our facility in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and repair of electronic control hardware used on McHale products.
  • Managing and documenting electronic controller returns from customers.
  • Communicating with end user customers via phone to diagnose electronic issues.
  • Liaising with McHale field technicians to assist with debug and repair of electronic issues on machines in the field.
  • Involvement with the design/manufacturing/testing of wiring harnesses and other electronic hardware used on McHale products.

Key Requirements

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of 12 Volt electronic systems and PCB design.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a desire for perfection is crucial.
  • A critical thinking and analytical mindset are required.
  • Some experience in electronic PCB design or repair is required.
  • An operator/customer focused vision.
