Electronics Technician

About this role:

As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the testing and repair of electronic components and systems to ensure they meet quality standards.

You will setup and provide day-to-day support for test stations, power supplies, and measuring instruments. You will also analyze non-conforming products returned by customers, complete detailed reports, and interface with customers for ideal test equipment/program setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Board Repair Experience: Minimum three years relevant demonstrable experience using test and diagnostics equipment for both analog and digital circuits, including logic and processor systems.
  • Electronics Knowledge: A good understanding of electronics principles and experience interpreting circuit diagrams.
  • Qualifications: NFQ Level 6 or higher qualification in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrable debug and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated.
