The role
We're currently recruiting for an Actuary to join our European Actuarial team to provide a professional service applying actuarial, technical & business knowledge to support the delivery of informed & effective decision making in order to deliver the company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Calculation, analysis, and review of Solvency II capital resources & requirements in ORSA scenarios, annual business plan (incl. sensitivities), stress and scenario testing, new business results.
Contributing to the overall business planning, group-wide projects and strategic activities.
Contributing to the calculation and review of Solvency II capital requirements & balance sheet including analysis of change.
Developing, building and improving actuarial analysis of financial results and processes.
Producing papers and reports for senior management and executives as required.
Leading interactions with the group teams that are responsible for the delivery of the actuarial services.
Applying commercial understanding of the business to ensure the reasonability of actuarial results/analysis.
Ability to autonomously perform actuarial analysis and to come up with reasonable ways how to estimate impacts of non-modelled events.
