Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Location: Dublin
Overview: We are seeking a qualified Actuary to join our Standard Life International (SL Intl) Actuarial Function team. The role involves supporting Solvency II calculations, technical provisions, and contributing to product development and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and evaluate Solvency II results, ensuring methodology and assumptions are appropriate.
Support the production of the Actuarial Opinion on Technical Provisions and related reports.
Assist in underwriting and pricing reviews, representing the Actuarial Function at relevant committees.
Support regulatory duties and maintain internal relationships within the group.
Contribute to projects and initiatives within the company.
Required Skills and Attributes: Qualified Actuary with experience in life insurance, particularly unit-linked, annuities, and with-profits.
Knowledge of Solvency II Standard Formula and its application.
Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Ability to quickly understand key issues and form sound judgments.
