Overview Exciting opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join a growing actuarial consulting team in Dublin. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of life insurance projects, with the chance to work closely with senior colleagues and clients across Ireland and internationally.
Responsibilities Delivery of actuarial solutions for life insurance and reinsurance clients.
Collaboration with senior colleagues in client engagement, including preparing materials for proposals and meetings.
Partner with project teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Assist in developing thought leadership and stay up to date with Solvency II, IFRS 17, and wider market developments.
Explore opportunities to apply automation, advanced modelling, and AI in actuarial and risk management work.
What We’re Looking For Nearly or newly qualified actuary with experience in life insurance or reinsurance.
Strong knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS 17, with the ability to apply this in practice.
Consulting or project experience desirable, including managing small workstreams or exposure to leading junior colleagues.
Technical skills in actuarial modelling, with additional interest in Python, data transformation, or automation an advantage.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and within teams.
