Senior Java Technical Lead

OverviewWe're seeking aSenior Java Technical Leadto drive the development of transformative software solutions for government clients.With over7 years of experienceleading enterprise Java projects, you'll bring a strategic mindset, strong technical acumen, and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to delivering innovative, secure, and scalable digital services that make a real difference.ResponsibilitiesProvide the development team with technical leadership and guidance on application design optionsManaging delivery as agreed and aligning team resources as requiredManage project source code and documentationResponsibility for building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applicationsJava application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testingExpert in Java development, with experience using industry-standard frameworks, e.g. Quarkus/Spring BootMicroservice and API development (RESTful, experience of REST design and implementation)Understanding of API security protocols (OAuth 2.0/0penID Connect)Knowledge of Kubernetes, API managers and WebLogicExperience with OpenShift Container platform, 3scale API and KeyCloakTesting frameworks and TDD (like Cucumber or Junit)Databases: Relational (Oracle)Coding in adherence to the standards of the application in questionMaintaining, tuning and repairing applications to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications;
