We Offer: Flexible working hours Free staff car parking Exclusive discounts at The Loop Duty Free Free uniforms Meals on duty Excellent development opportunities Objective of the Role Reporting to the Front Office Managerthe Reception Supervisoris supervising the receptionists to give exceptional customer service, therefore it is of utmost importance that all staff present a friendly and professional image to our guests at all times. Key Duties and Responsibilities To ensure all guest requests are met regarding room allocation i.e. VIPs, communicate to FOM, Housekeeping and DM To ensure the hotel policy in relation to cash handling and the billing/credit policy is adhered to. To constantly liaise with the housekeeping department to ensure all guest requests are attended to. To ensure that all members of the reception team act as a back up to the guest services team To ensure follow up is competed with customers after they have requested specific items. To ensure the AM/PM checklist is complete. To ensure all bills are prepared and invoiced in accordance with hotel policy. To ensure a complete and accurate handover is received and communicated at the beginning and end of each shift. To ensure all external and internal calls are answered in accordance with the SOP manual. To ensure the wakeup call procedure is adhered to. To ensure all staff that you are responsible for are aware of emergency procedures. To assist the FOM in implementing and enforcing financial controls throughout the front office. To supervise the AM/PM shifts on reception making sure that all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate the front office activities with other departments. To attend the daily briefing as required. To book out guests if required ensuring that the situation is handled in line with the agreed Maldron procedure and all follow up is undertaken. To ensure that we maximize occupancy and rate through the managing of the shift on a day to day basis. Requirements: Excellent customer care skills. Be able to work on your own initiative.
