Avolon is a leading global aviation finance company connecting capital with customers to drive the transformation of aviation and the economic and social benefits of global travel.We pride ourselves on our deep customer relationships, our collaborative team approach, and our fast execution.We invest with a long-term perspective, diversifying risk and managing capital efficiently to maintain our strong balance sheet.Working with 140 airlines in 59 countries, Avolon has an owned, managed, and committed fleet of 1,129 aircraft, as of 31 December **** on a pro forma basis including the acquisition of Castlelake Aviation Limited.The Role:TheHead of Technologyis a key executive role responsible for driving digital transformation, developing and implementing the organization's technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of critical projects that enable our long-term business objectives.Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of Technology will provide strategic direction to drive innovation, manage the development of advanced technologies, and ensure the company's technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, efficient, and effective.Key Responsibilities:Technology LeadershipBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology and project management team.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Aware of the latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge.Technology StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Avolon's overall business objectives.Identify and evaluate the latest technologies, assessing their potential for business impact.Collaborate closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders to understand their technology needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.Chair the Avolon Information Technology Advisory Group.Technology Infrastructure and OperationsOversee the design and implementation of a robust technical enterprise architecture that aligns with business requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.Establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems infrastructure, product development and support, network, data management, and security protocols for high performance and data integrity.Accelerate innovation initiatives to enhance our products, services, and processes for optimum efficiency.Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners, assessing and selecting the most appropriate solutions and services.Project Management OfficeDevelop and implement a comprehensive PMO strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.Oversee the establishment and maintenance of effective project and portfolio management methodologies, standards, and best practices.Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Security, Compliance, and GovernancePrioritize cybersecurity, data privacy, and protection, implementing robust security measures to protect company data, systems, and infrastructure from threats.Monitor and address risks associated with system vulnerabilities, scalability, and technological obsolescence.Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and mitigate risks of data breaches or cyberattacks.Establish policies and best practices to manage technology risks, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response plans.Manage the technology budget -
