Job descriptionFun Place, has an exciting new job in Galway We are in search of a new Pop-up Store Manager.This role will be based in our new Pop-up Store in Eyre Square, Galway.The job will involve day to day management of a pop up store covering Halloween and Christmas trade.Who we are;Fun Place has been the best costume and fancy dress store in Dublin for over 40 years.Our brand promotes fun and inclusivity.We strive to provide the best craic and the most enjoyable in-store experience to our fantastic customers.We have such an in-depth knowledge of costume and fancy dress and love to help our customers get exactly what they are looking for.Our store covers everything from costume to face and body painting, special fx, pro beauty, drag, content creation, cosplay, theatre, and of course Halloween We are continuously aiming to better our product range and always provide the best.We are an extremely fast-growing business with lots of ambition to continue this growth across many retail channels.The Role;Carry out managerial dutiesPromote exceptional customer service and have a drive for salesManage our diverse team of passionate fancy dressersEncourage our team to hit the sales targets every week.Ensure tills and paperwork are in order for the head officeEnsure all the goods-in are handled correctly.Merchandise the store in a fun easy-to- shop wayOversee the day-to-day management of our Shopify till systemOrganise staff breaksDelegate tasks (recognising individual strengths)About you;Minimum 1 year experience in a similar retail role (supervisor/manager/assistant manager)Ability to maintain stock levels through persistent stock management.Enthusiastic, ambitious, motivational, and hard-working personalityDisplay good leadership and team playing skills.Premium customer service skills.Competitive in regards to salesExcellent communicatorGood team playerThe TermsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: €***** per hourSchedule:Weekend availabilityMost weekendsExperience:Retail Supervisor/Manager: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: *****Job Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 4 monthsPay: €*****-€***** per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:Employee discountWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 25/09/2025Expected start date: 01/10/2025
