The Ardilaun Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team.As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring the highest standards of service for our guests.About UsFormerly a country mansion, the 4* Ardilaun Hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms with a superb conference centre, wedding venue and leisure club facilities.Nestled in Galway's suburbs, in a secluded setting in leafy Taylor's Hill just 1km from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill, our hotel provides a serene and secluded setting for guests.ResponsibilitiesWork with the management team to ensure smooth running of the hotel operationFoster a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests.Address guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfactionTo ensure that all staff conduct themselves in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual and hotel policyAbility to direct the team in all operational departments in their day to day dutiesA strong presence on the floor with a hands on approachAssist the Head of Department to continually improve the procedures and systemsProfessional Requirements and Experience:Proven experience in hotel management or a related field.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and customer service principles.Availability to work flexible hours, including late night, early morning and weekends.Benefits:Free access to the Leisure ClubEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree ParkingFree meals on DutyDiscounts throughout the hotelUniform providedBike to Work SchemeEmployee Referral Programme
