HR Learning & Development Officer BWG Foods has an exciting opportunity for a HR Learning & Development Administrator, based at BWG Head Office and reporting to the Head of Learning & Development.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about continuous development.
BWG Foods owns and operates brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR, MACE, Londis, and XL across the Republic of Ireland, partnering with independent retailers in over 1,000 stores serving communities nationwide, with more than one million shoppers daily.
The wholesale division includes BWG Foodservice, Corrib Food Products, Williams Gate, and nationwide Cash and Carry branches like Value Centre and 4 Aces.
Responsibilities: Support the Head of Learning & Development in assessing training needs across the retail business.Generate reports on training metrics and effectiveness.Update and maintain the eLearning platform.Assist in designing new training programs.Create engaging learning materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and manuals.Coordinate leadership training programs with external providers.Handle Learning & Development queries internally and externally.Organize training logistics and schedules.Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.Review and update HR policies.Support HR projects and onboarding processes.Collaborate on communication articles.Identify skills gaps and development opportunities via surveys and feedback.Assist with managing wellness programs and activities.Candidate Profile: Undergraduate honours degree in a relevant discipline.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.Strong IT skills with adaptability to new systems; familiarity with LMS is an advantage.Organized with keen attention to detail.Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility to changing priorities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Committed to promoting company interests and fair procedures.Full clean driver's license required.
