An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established Accounting Practice in Naas, Co.
Kildare.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in VAT, payroll processing, and management accounts, looking to join a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
Process payroll for multiple clients, including payslip preparation, managing deductions, and ensuring tax obligations are met.
Assist in preparing management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Reconcile bank accounts and maintain clear financial records.
Ensure all documentation is properly organised for audits and compliance purposes.
What We're Looking For:
At least 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of VAT and payroll processes.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, alongside strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
A proactive and client-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
