Commercial FP&A Accountant
.
Role Overview:
The
Commercial FP&A Accountant
will support and drive the corporate-owned stores churn framework.
You will be a key member of the Musgrave Retail Services Acquisitions and Integrations team, responsible for onboarding new stores and delivering projects on time.
You will contribute to developing operational and governance frameworks tailored to each store entity structure, and compile apportionment accounts in line with MRS hard close reporting requirements, in conjunction with the Financial Control team.
Additionally, you will partner with the Head of Cedarglade on operational and financial matters, ensuring successful store onboarding, and understand the balance sheet impacts of acquisitions.
Providing clarity and insights on acquisitions and divestments will also be part of your remit.
Support on Commercial Initiatives:
Develop and deliver accurate MRS projections of store performance with key assumptions clearly outlined for Credit Committee Approval Requests.
Attend review meetings with stakeholders including the MRS Strategy & Growth Manager, MRS Senior Leadership Team, and present business cases to support strategic decisions.
Understand internal and external factors influencing the retail business.
Work closely with the wider MRS Local Finance team to align on KPIs and business objectives.
Engage in other strategic projects as required.
Candidate Profile:
A minimum of 3 years PQE.
Advanced Excel skills are essential.
Highly numerical and analytical with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to influence and drive change, with a mindset of innovation.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multi-task.
Flexible and dependable.
