The roleTekno Surgical is recruiting anOrthopaedic Sales Specialist – Recon & Makoto join our growing Team in the Republic of Ireland.Tekno distributes the Stryker Portfolio of Hips, Knees and Robotic Implants and has a strong Market Share in the Republic of Ireland.The role will be mainly based in the Limerick, Galway, Mayo area, however the candidate will be required occasionally to service other Accounts as part of the ROI Recon & Mako Team.Preferably living in the Limerick / Galway area.Key OutcomesThe Specialist will be responsible for the complete Orthopaedic Joint replacement Hips, Knees & Mako Robotics Portfolio in your Accounts.The working environment will be mainly in the Operating Theatre.Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquires.Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential through your contact with Customers, Colleagues, and the Companies who Tekno represents in the Irish Market.Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings both in Ireland and elsewhere.Key Skills & ExperiencesA Technical Qualification and an aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies.A minimum of 3+ years' successful track record in medical sales or technology service in the hospital environment is desirable, also experience in Medical device manufacturing & design will be considered.Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.Role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skillsGood administrative and computing skillsCommercially aware, be able to manage a complex business.Self-motivated and team playerUniphar – Who we areWith 3,000+ employees across Ireland, the UK, Europe, MENA, and the U.S., Uniphar partners with 200+ top pharmaco-medical manufacturers, delivering specialised, tech-enabled solutions through its three divisions: Medtech, Supply Chain & Retail, and Pharma.This opportunity sits with Tekno Surgical in Uniphar Medtech, a dedicated division focused on delivering innovative medical technologies and solutions.How we'd like to work togetherOur core values, titled our Medtech Mindset, guides our culture and work environment:We Go Forward Together: We operate as a unified team, leveraging diverse specialties to make swift, collaborative decisions and embrace progress over perfection.We Take Our Business Seriously: We prioritise compliance and risk management to ensure the best outcomes for our patients and partners, supported by our innovative portfolio and commitment to sustainability.We Deliver Exceptional Results: We focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial success to achieve outstanding results for our patients, customers, and business.If you have similar values and are passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to join our team and help us drive forward together.#J-*****-Ljbffr
