manager, the Senior Duty Manager will oversee the running of key functions in the hotel.Key Duties and Responsibilities:To oversee the daily operations of the hotel and assist in departments when necessary.To consistently maintain the correct service and product standards within the hotelManage and support team members, ensuring they adhere to policies and provide excellent service.To assist in training, ensuring that training is documented accordingly, and to assist in the development of staff.To have adequate knowledge of operating the hotels AV equipment, air conditioning and lighting in all departments.Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage their expectations.To ensure an environment exists which promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment in their area of work.Ensure prompt resolution of guest issues.Monitor billing, payments, and ensure accurate transactions.About The RoleRequirements:Have a minimum of three years' supervisory /management experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.Possess excellent guest care and service skills.Have a mature, positive, and pleasant manner.A creative and solutions-focused approach when problem-solving.Excellent communication and customer service skills.The ability to use business English verbally and through email correspondence is essential.Knowledge of hotel operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management, housekeeping and reservations.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficient in hotel management software such as
