Our client, a well-established food manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic
General Manager
to lead their Dublin-based facility through its next phase of growth and investment.
The Role
As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across the manufacturing site.
You will lead a cross-functional team and work closely with the CEO and management team to deliver on ambitious commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily plant operations, including production, planning, procurement, quality, supply chain, and H&S.
Lead, mentor, and develop a strong management team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Deliver operational targets including cost, margin, quality, and service KPIs.
Partner with commercial teams to ensure customer requirements and market demands are met.
Drive compliance with food safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
Develop and execute strategic plans to support business growth and innovation.
Manage budgets, P&L, and capital investment projects.
Skills & Experience
Proven leadership experience at senior management level in the food manufacturing sector (ready meals, chilled, or FMCG highly desirable).
Strong operational and commercial acumen with experience managing P&L.
Excellent people leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Knowledge of BRC and ISO 2022
Demonstrated success in driving performance efficiency, structures, process improvement, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
