Manufacturing Engineering ManagerJoin to apply for the Manufacturing Engineering Manager role at Siemens Healthineers.Now's our time to inspire the future of healthcare together.About Siemens HealthineersWe are a team of more than 71,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.As a leader in medical technology, we constantly push the boundaries to create better outcomes and experiences for patients, no matter where they live or what health issues they are facing.Our portfolio is crucial for clinical decision-making and treatment pathways.OverviewReporting into an Engineering Manager, the mission of this role is to lead and develop a team of technical engineers to support and improve manufacturing processes for regulated medical device production.This role ensures process validation, regulatory compliance and production efficiency.The manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports new product development (NPD), and partners cross-functionally to ensure that production outputs are met.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of multidisciplinary engineers in a medical device manufacturing environment.Manage product and process change activities, technology transfers while assuring continuity of supply.Proven experience in the design and development of high-quality, cost effective, automated system solutions.Work cross-functionally & cross-site to deliver finished product to the end customer.Lead projects to drive continuous improvement in key metrics in alignment with Lean, 6 Sigma, Design Robustness and Problem-Solving Principles.Problem-solve to solution level, with a structured approach, using the team, complete all associated planning and design validation activity required to achieve the desired outcome.Deliver solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.Participate in the continuous development of the quality system, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow development, product and process validations coupled with the ability to write concise technical reports.QualificationsNFQ Level 8 or higher in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics, Engineering, or alternative) with 10 years relevant engineering experience.Degree in alternative disciplines will be considered if balanced by relevant engineering experience.5 years' experience or more in a relevant leadership position.Very strong technical background (Mechanical / Electromechanical / Manufacturing).Structured analysis skills with experience in complex technical troubleshooting.Excellent collaboration & communications skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.Practical experience of supplier & manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes.Additional Leadership expectationsA strong inspirational leader & excellent team player that knows how to develop and drive high performance teams.A high paced individual that leads by example, is organized and solution focused.Overall ability to combine technical, design and manufacturing skillsets in a high pace, dynamic environment.Systems level thinker, working across technologies, e.g. hardware, fluidics, electronics, optics and software etc.Can mentor, develop and guide the team in problem solving and is solutions driven.Utilizes their knowledge and skillset to get the job done with pace, efficiently utilizing all resources available.Knowledge of verification and validation of design changes and manufacturing equipment.BenefitsWe offer a flexible and dynamic environment and the space to move beyond your comfort zone to grow both personally and professionally.We have an excellent benefits package for the right candidate.LocationDublin, County Dublin, IrelandContactApply to Siemens Healthineers.#J-*****-Ljbffr
