EHS Officer Based County Cavan, Commutable from Leitrim, Roscommon, Longford, Cavan and Westmeath Working in partnership with this innovative Manufacturing business, we are currently seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Officer for their facilities in Co. Cavan. A fantastic opportunity for an EHS Officer to learn and thrive in this varied environment, and take your experience to the next level, with full support from leadership. Essential Criteria - Qualification in Health & Safety and/or Environmental - Degree level - 2 years+ experience in EHS & ISO Systems desirable - Ability to plan and manage multiple projects and conflicting demands - Excellent initiative and ability to act proactively to develop a strong EHS culture on site Responsibilities: - The EHS Officer will provide Environmental, Health & Safety support to operations ensuring that all relevant certifiable standards, policies, procedures and customer requirements are adhered to and conform to legal and safety legislation - Drive and support the site in the implementation of best working practices and strategies while demonstrating a pro- active working style. - Coach and develop individuals and participate in audits preparation and projects to maintain all site accreditations and certifications - Develop and foster a culture of constant improvement regarding Health and Safety and Environmental principles - Assist with regular Safety team meetings within the company. - Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain high levels of EHS standards Vacancy Reference: PR/(phone number removed) Vacancy Owner: Jamie Harper | (url removed) | (+(Apply online only) | (+44) (phone number removed)
