Are you our new Finance Accountant (PI Finance)
As part of an opportunity based in Ireland Intrum is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to take responsibility for Monthly Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and helping oversee the audit process for all Central Investing entities and reporting for Capital partners.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
The position requires strong accounting experience, project management and teamwork skills.
The Financial Accountant is key to ensure that Intrum develops and makes the most out of all our opportunities.
This role will suit a recently qualified Accountant with experience in reviewing accounts, helping prepare statutory accounts and helping oversee the audit process for a large number of legal entities.

What will you do
:
General Finance and Accounting
Working closely with Centralised Back office Accounting Team to ensure monthly reporting is timely and accurate;
Group Financial Reporting: Review of Workday and Cognos reporting and ensuring all reporting follows Group guidelines for Financial Accounting and Reporting (IFRS) for each entity inc. portfolio investments and cost allocation for each market / portfolio
Assist in production of Statutory Accounts for all Central Investment Entities
Overseeing the local annual audit process and liaising between local and Group auditors
Assist in Intercompany Reconciliations
Assist in cash management process and monthly waterfall payments for all Central investment entities
Ensuring compliance with Intrum Group processes, tools, accounting principles and internal controls
Work with Group and Country resources on creation of monthly reports to review performance and for control
Assist in production and review of monthly management accounts for Central Investment entities and statutory accounts for capital partners as part of the Group's asset management services
Assist in production and filing of statistical financial returns due for Central Investment entities and capital partner entities
Assist in levelling calculations, bookings and reconciliations for capital partnership agreements
Assist in set up of new local entities on Intrum's Financial Systems (Workday, Cognos)
Ensure documentation and audit trails are locally compliant for Central Investment entities;
Other financial accounting and reporting services
Work with relevant Group and external resources to develop appropriate accounting policies.
Tax and Financial Compliance Reporting
Filing of the BI-Monthly Vat Returns and assisting in preparation of yearly Tax Returns
Work with relevant Group and external resources to ensure correctness of periodic Tax and Vat reporting
Corporate Income Tax: Accruals / annual returns prepared by KPMG based on inputs from finance team
Yearly update of the transfer pricing documentation per entity in cooperation with Group Tax
Support tax audits from Group or local Tax authorities
CBI Returns per investment entity
What we're looking for
:
Recognized finance qualification.
Skilled in all Microsoft Office applications, strong accounting knowledge, strong reporting knowledge.
Experience with emphasis on helping prepare statutory accounts, management accounts and oversee audits for legal entities.
Strong system skills with experience in using different accounting and finance systems for reporting and review.
Effective communication skills ability to work well to tight deadlines, organised, strong analytical review skills, good team player
