As the Accommodation & Domestic Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for training and motivating team members while ensuring both private and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness.You will play a key role in the smooth running of daily housekeeping operations and in delivering excellent customer and guest satisfaction.Core CompetenciesFoster an environment of trust, support, and collaboration where staff feel encouraged to share ideas.Supervise and lead housekeeping staff, auditing the quality of cleaning provided.Demonstrate a strong passion for outstanding customer and guest service within the accommodation sector.Possess excellent organizational and team management skills.Core ResponsibilitiesTrain cleaning operatives on housekeeping and maintenance tasks within our luxury accommodation.Inspect apartments, rooms, and common areas for cleanliness and preventative maintenance needs.Motivate team members and resolve any workplace issues.Secondary ResponsibilitiesAssist with scheduling shifts and arranging cover for absences.Establish and reinforce standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene.Respond to customer complaints and special requests promptly.Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.Take part in larger cleaning projects as needed.Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.Work Schedule5 days per week (Monday–Sunday), with alternating weekends required.Core schedule: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with some variation.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: €*****-€***** per hourExpected hours: ******* per weekBenefits:Sick payExperience:cleaning: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Location:Galway, CO.Galway (required)Work Location: In person
