Senior Financial Accountant

Barden has been engaged by a leading Irish FMCG business in Cork to identify a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This is a broad and commercially focused finance role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to make an impact beyond the numbers.
You'll join a well-established and high-performing finance function, supporting both day-to-day accounting and broader business activity.
This opportunity offers genuine exposure to the commercial side of operations, with a strong focus on stakeholder collaboration, process improvement and meaningful business partnering.

THE ROLE
Full ownership of month-end reporting, management accounts, and KPI reporting
Partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
Managing tax compliance and supporting audit processes
Assisting with board reporting and driving process improvements
THE PERSON
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years' PQE
Strong technical skills, with excellent Excel knowledge
Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
