Senior Financial Accountant

Barden is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and successful global business in the renewable energy industry, seeking a ambitious Senior Financial Accountant to join their high-performing Finance team.
Reporting to a high-calibre Finance Manager and working closely with the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will have responsibilities including month-end reporting, liaising with key stakeholders on commercial activities, and ad-hoc tax and project work. This position offers a long-term opportunity within a progressive and growing business.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Review and post month-end close and accounting transactions;
- Handle accounting and reporting requirements under IFRS;
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting to support business decision-making;
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and support the audit process;
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business;
- Evaluate and improve processes;
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified Accountant with 2-3 years' PQE;
- Experience with IFRS is desirable;
- Strong technical skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Team player capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
