Senior Financial Accountant

Barden has been engaged by a leading Irish FMCG business in Cork to identify a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This is a broad and commercially focused finance role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to make an impact beyond the numbers.
You'll join a well-established and high-performing finance function, supporting both day-to-day accounting and broader business activity.
This opportunity offers genuine exposure to the commercial side of operations, with a strong focus on stakeholder collaboration, process improvement and meaningful business partnering.

THE ROLE Full ownership of month-end reporting, management accounts, and KPI reportingPartnering with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insightsSupporting budgeting and forecasting processes across the businessManaging tax compliance and supporting audit processesAssisting with board reporting and driving process improvementsTHE PERSON Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years' PQEStrong technical skills, with excellent Excel knowledgeCommercially minded, detail-oriented, and results-drivenStrong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
