### ### ****Organization Overview:****### Eli Lilly GBS Cork, Ireland, hosts a unique 'Global Medical Affairs' role within the 'Medical and Scientific Capabilities' organization.
This role supports the life cycle of the Immunology portfolio, contributing to strategic planning and collaboration with global teams in product development activities.
### Through the application of scientific and clinical expertise, the Clinical Research Scientist (CRS) is an integral member of the Medical Affairs team for strategic planning and execution.
### ****Responsibilities:****### As a Medical Affairs CRS, you will be an integral member of cross-functional teams, collaborating with other CRS and Clinical Research Physicians.
Your responsibilities include:* ### Developing global and/or regional clinical/medical plans.
* ### Contributing to the development of promotional materials and medical strategies.
* ### Supporting business-to-business and business-to-government activities.
* ### Engaging in scientific data dissemination and exchange.
* ### Participating in clinical planning, trial execution and reporting.
* ### Providing regulatory support activities.
### ### You will work closely with internal teams such as Clinical Development, Global Scientific Communications, Global Medical Information, Global Patient Safety, Value, Evidence and Outcomes, and the International Business Unit.
### ****Basic Requirements:***** ### Minimum 3 years of medical affairs experience and familiarity with immunology disease areas (Rheumatology and Dermatology)* ### An advanced health/medical/scientific (pharmacology, physiology, microbiology) or related graduate degree such as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with advanced clinical specialty (Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner) and one of following: 3-5 years of clinical experience; or 3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience (including 2 years in clinical development)### **OR*** ### Bachelor's or Master's degree in health/medical/scientific or related field with 7-10 years of pharmaceutical experience directly related to clinical trials, drug discovery, or drug/clinical development (e.g., epidemiology, toxicology, pharmacology, regulatory affairs, medical affairs).
* ### Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and negotiation skills.
* ### Ability to balance scientific priorities with business priorities and influence others cross-functionally.
* ### Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication.
* ### Flexibility to engage in domestic and international travel as needed to support the business objectives.
### ### ****Additional Skills/Preferences:***** ### Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
* ### Prior work with cross-functional teams and ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
* ### Proven ability to effectively communicate scientific and clinical information to diverse audiences.
* ### Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical research and drug development.
* ### Experience in conducting literature reviews and staying abreast of developments in the field of Immunology.
* ### Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
### ### ****Additional Information:***** ### Travel may be required, both domestically and internationally and is planned to be around 10-15% of the time.
