Medical Scientist Pathology/Histology – LOCUMKate Cowhig International Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Medical Scientist, Cork, Ireland.For further information & apply please Email your CV & CORU Registration to The purpose of this role:Assist in implementing a clinical laboratory service that supports the clinical needs of the patientsEssential Criteria:·Applicants must be a registered Medical Scientist with CORU.·Applicants must provide evidence of your registration by including your CORU certificate with your application.·Have the required qualifications for a Medical Scientist post as stipulated by the Department of Health·Have experience working in the field·Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills·Be flexible and capable of working independently and as part of a team·Be innovative, enthusiastic, and self-motivatedBenefitsSalary from €42,- €67, per annum based on years of experiencePermanent, full-time contractsResponsibilities ·Shall be responsible for all technical/scientific aspects of the work of the Department. ·Shall participate in ensuring the Quality Management System of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine conforms to the standards contained in ISO ; Medical Laboratories. Particular requirements for quality and competence.
