Apple is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager who will be responsible for supporting the organisation in managing Regulatory Certification and ensuring all requirements are met for importation and sale of Apple products across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.DescriptionThe Regulatory Compliance team ensure the products we build comply with the relevant standards, regulations, and laws in the countries we operate in.You will support the team in managing the regulatory certification platforms; drive new product introduction in line with regulatory requirements and timelines for product launch; maintain regulatory documentation systems and databases; and communicate to cross functional teams on developments and updates on key projects.ResponsibilitiesManaging the new product introduction programs to support timely product to market.Drive compliance project management activities across regulatory focus areasDrive the culture of continuous improvement on certification processes reducing lead times with innovative techniques.Design and implement strategies to mitigate regulatory risk across multiple stakeholder groupsCreate executive reporting on key regulatory initiatives and engagementsSupport the team in preparing advocacy papers and providing input to consultations on regulatory mattersTrack regional regulatory developments, and participate in industry group and standard development committeesConduct frequency investigations in the region to pave the way for new technologies.Lead and mentor the team on good project management practices.Manage communication with cross functional departments in an efficient manner ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of associated obligations and emerging risksEstablishes working relationships, and interface with multiple government and non-government organisations having an impact on market access and distributionLead key engagements with regulatory authorities during product development and its life cycleDevelop and manage programs to educate stakeholders on regulatory requirements to ensure organisation-wide complianceMinimum QualificationsMinimum a degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or comparableBackground in Regulatory Compliance including safety, EMC, and radio compliance.Knowledge of International telecommunications regulations and standards.Consumer products background preferably in the Telecom & IT sector.Preferred QualificationsExperience in communication with Regulators, Regulatory Agencies, Standards Organizations and other organizations responsible for the regulation of wireless device testing, certification, importation and sale.Knowledge of Regulatory documentation requirements and the ability to understand how these apply to the products.Experience in regulatory, wireless engineering or telecommunications.Knowledge of Medical Device, Cybersecurity, and/or AI regulation would be a plus.Minimum 5 year's experience in similar industry.Problem solving skills with engineering techniques.Ability to demonstrate good project management skills.Knowledge of wireless infrastructure architectures, communications protocols, regulatory requirements and approval process.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication skills, both written & verbal with an ability to build relationships across multiple locations and teams.Ambitious and dedicated, able to work independently and in multi-functional teams.#J-*****-Ljbffr
