Residence Co-ordinatorWe are seeking a Residence Co-ordinator to support the Operations Manager and the wider team at our student residence Galway Central.Our Residence Co-ordinators are responsible for ensuring that a high standard of customer service and administrative support is provided to our residents.You will be the first point of contact on the main reception desk, dealing with all front-line queries both face-to-face and over the telephone, providing high quality customer service.Please note that during the summer, the Residence acts as a hotel and the successful candidate will be required to work 5 days out of 7 (including weekends) during a 12 week period.Tasks during summer include:Deal with daily hotel reception duties; arrivals, departures, customer queries, allocations and paymentsLiaise closely with housekeeping and maintenance team departments to maximise sales and to ensure customers service standards are upheld administration and filing duties.Main Responsibilities:Be the first point of contact for students, visitors and guests, providing front desk and telephone supportDeal with resident and customer queries as and when and in accordance with company policy.Manage the post/parcels, receiving in and handing out parcelsAssist in arranging and conducting sales viewings for prospective residents in order to assist student renewal and sales.Provide general administrative support to the management team including filing, photocopying, monitoring posters/notices, receiving and distributing post to residents.Maintain records of students and occupancy lists.Engaging with residents to help provide a 'home-from-home' experience.Assisting Student Experience events and administration.Assisting residents who have lost keys/entry fobs.Respond to complaints in accordance with site guidelines, providing support where necessary.Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.Ensuring customer expectations and satisfaction is achieved in line with the National Code of StandardsRole Specific Skills and Abilities:Fluent English required.Mandarin speaking would be beneficial but not essential.Ability to work without supervision maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Good time managementProactive and strong ability to problem solve, multi-task, plan and organise.Excellent oral and written communication and customer-facing skills and ability to deal with difficult situations.Proven ability to engage with customers, colleagues and third-party suppliers.Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines.A calm and professional manner, able to work without constant supervision.Ability to undertake repetitive heavy lifting with appropriate equipment if necessary.A good understanding of business coupled with a professional attitude.IT literate, competent user of Microsoft Office and ConcurrentExperience in a customer facing role in PBSA would be an advantage.About us:Being a member of the Now Student Living team requires an appreciation for the dedication our core vison to be the best choice for our students and our clients, as an innovative industry leader, to inspire them and grow together.Our Vision and Values are fundamental to Now Student Living's ultimate mission to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, colleagues and visitors.Vision and ValuesAt Now Student Living, we stand for core brand values of Community, Accessibility and Sustainability.Three pillars that inspire our brand name through everything we do.Our Residence Teams help shape and contribute to our community, giving back in the most environmentally friendly way, whilst being on hand with 1-2-1 support with your studies, accommodation maintenance or something more personal.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €28,****** per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionPrivate medical insuranceSick payWellness programExperience:Customer service: 1 year (required)Sales: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
