A leading consultancy firm is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors for positions based in Dublin, Cork, or Waterford. This is an excellent opportunity for commercially astute professionals with a strong consultancy background to join a growing, dynamic team delivering a wide range of high-impact projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties across multiple projects.
* Support contract negotiations and ensure full compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
* Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors, where applicable, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
* Prepare accurate cost plans, tender documents, and feasibility reports.
* Conduct value engineering and risk assessments as required.
* Liaise with design teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Monitor budgets, assess variations, and prepare monthly valuations.
Requirements:
* Minimum of five years' experience in a cost consultancy or client-side environment.
* Strong knowledge of the Irish construction market and established cost management practices.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Preference for candidates with a PQS background.
* Based in Ireland or with a strong connection to the Irish market.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven track record of delivering multiple projects across various sectors.
