Key Responsibilities
Understanding Business Needs and Requirements: Analysing business strategy for Group Pensions line of business; a solution architect deeply understands the client\'s business goals, objectives and strategic direction; they work with stakeholders to gather and document both business and technical requirements for a solution; they translate these requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and designs.
Designing Solutions for MP365, Compass and Interfaces: Architectural design, developing the overall technical vision for a solution and creating blueprints and architectural diagrams; Technology selection, evaluating and choosing appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools for the solution; ensuring that the solution integrates seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure; Scalability and security, designing solutions with scalability, security, and performance in mind.
Guiding Implementation: Technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle; Collaboration with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders; Documentation of comprehensive documentation for the solution; Risk management, identifying and mitigating potential technical risks associated with the solution.
Ensuring Solution Quality: Compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards; Testing and validation to ensure the solution meets requirements; Performance analysis and optimization of the solution; Continuous improvement and process enhancements.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicating the technical vision to both technical and non-technical audiences; Stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle; Advising and consulting on technical matters.
