OverviewProduction Manager – LabellingWe are recruiting a Production Manager, based in Dublin.This Irish company creates and produces in the labelling and packaging industry and is experiencing a major increase in demand for these products.The company focuses on its people and provides meaningful, challenging positions.They pursue a common goal and encourage collaboration with colleagues and clients to produce the best possible product.They value individuals who can challenge the norm to improve processes.Continuous improvement is the mantra, and employees are encouraged to express themselves productively to achieve long-term goals.About the PositionThe Production Manager will be responsible for managing all production operations, including maintenance, health & safety, quality, and environmental issues.The role includes managing a team of production specialists and implementing processes and procedures to maximise daily production.You will lead special projects related to continuous improvement and bring your team along on the CI journey.Experience/RequirementsResponsibilities include:Daily running of the plant and maintaining a high standard across the operation.Production planning and goal setting.Collaborating with the Head of Operations on Lean initiatives to foster a continuous improvement culture.Manage KPIs to ensure production operates at best capacity.Interact with warehouse managers to ensure stock levels are sufficient.Lead the production team in a motivated manner and ensure employees are sufficiently challenged.Identify cost savings and energy efficiencies across the plant.With the Health & Safety Manager, manage the operation with safety at the forefront.Work with the Head of Operations to identify and implement changes to improve productivity.Manage projects related to plant layout, capital equipment and major maintenance programs.Operate to reliability engineering processes and procedures.Resource planning in relation to raw materials.Required qualifications and experience:A minimum of 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in the labelling sector is advantageous.An engineering-related degree.Experience in a Lean environment and ideally a Lean qualification.Experience in Health & Safety.Materials management experience.Strong influencing skills and the ability to motivate people within your team.Change management and process improvement experience.Ability to embrace new systems and educate others in this area.Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate problems before they arise.Remuneration PackageThe client offers an excellent package with benefits, including a pension.As this is a manufacturing and production role, the candidate will be on site five days a week.ContactFor more information on this position or other engineering roles, please contact Cathal or apply below to send your CV.SkillsProduction ManagerManufacturingLabellingBenefitsSalaryParkingBonus#J-*****-Ljbffr
