Due to continuing expansion, Summerhill Construction are seeking motivated and experienced Excavator Operators to join our team.
The successful candidates will be site based on various projects.

The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience performing tasks such as excavation, grading, and site preparation according to project requirements.

Responsibilities
These include but are not limited to:
Adhering to all company and site-specific welfare and safety requirements and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Collaborate with the groundworks team to coordinate activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper and safe functioning.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Skills & Experience
A successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
At least 5 years site experience
CSCS card holder
Valid Safe Pass
Familiar with safe digging practices and other COP's
Able to read and communicate As-Built service drawings
Competent in completing safety documentation
Experienced in excavations around live services
Experience in pipe/ducting installations
Full driving Licence – C or C1 licence
Be reliable and punctual
