Urban
is delighted to partner with one of Ireland's finest construction teams as they seek to welcome an experienced
Site-Based Architect
to lead on the design and delivery of a major landmark development in Limerick.
This opportunity will require permanent on-site presence and the ability to travel to and from site regularly.
There will be vast support from the Cork office as part of this role.
You'll need to be comfortable with travel (expenses paid).
The studio operates across multiple regions of Ireland, so travel to and from project sites will be a standard part of this role.
Expected timeframe of this scheme is 2 years, with project demand ever increasing.
The studio are open to a fixed-term contract role as well as a permanent position within the studio.
Suitable architects will have proven excellence in the technical stages of projects and demonstrate strong skills in on-site construction inspection, overall compliance, and certification in line with Irish building regulations.
The studio works across multiple project sectors, both in Ireland and internationally, reflecting their global reputation and reach.

Responsibilities
Supporting the architectural team to ensure all projects comply with regulations and Irish construction standards.
Conducting daily site inspections and recording project status, quality standards and issues.
Representing the business while working alongside clients to ensure site progress, logging and resolving on-site issues efficiently.
Key Skills
Strong design, technical knowledge, and detailing skills.
In-depth knowledge of Irish Planning and Building Regulations.
