Senior Electrical Design Engineer Location: Limerick, Ireland Salary: €75 K€90 K DOE Role: A leading M&E Consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team.
This role offers the opportunity to manage junior staff, deliver technically robust solutions, and contribute to high-profile projects while maintaining compliance with national and international standards.
Responsibilities: Lead electrical engineering design and design management across projects Work within a multidisciplinary team and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors Design, specify, and review electrical systems compliant with regulations and standards Prepare drawings, specifications, budgets, and tender documentation Manage and mentor junior staff Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to ensure quality delivery Maintain professional development and stay updated on industry standard.
Requirements: Level 8 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Building Services Engineering Chartered Engineer (CEng) with minimum 5 years post-Chartered experience Strong technical ability in all aspects of electrical engineering design and services Excellent technical report writing and communication skills Broad understanding of RIAI & GCC forms of contract Proficiency in Revit, Auto CAD, and simulation software (e.g., Dialux, Amtech) Proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to take ownership of projects Benefits: €75 K€90 K DOE Company pension scheme Professional membership fees and CPD support Flexible working arrangements Career progression and leadership opportunities Interested?
